Courage:
The ability (by faith) to confront fears, worries, doubts, difficulties, and dangers with resolve; in spite of fears, worries, doubts, difficulties, and dangers. It is not the absence of fears, worries, doubts, difficulties, and dangers; it is the ability (by faith) to not let fears, worries, doubts, difficulties, and dangers dominate. Move forward by Faith in God (Trust, Rely, Obey, Be Loyal, Follow Him). God is Always with You. Know that nothing comes your way unless God allows it. Know that nothing can take you out before your appointed time to die. God is Sovereign - He is in Control of Everything.

But one keeps getting up, keeps moving forward, keeps repenting, keeps praying, keeps rejoicing, keeps praising, keeps receiving God's Spiritual Promises/Truths/Power/Loving Discipline, keeps being willing/committed to surrender self to Jesus, and letting Jesus' Perfection work in/through them. Jesus - here am I, have Your Way with me.

To Grant, Bestow, Offer, Provide, Designate

To Acquire or Take Possession Of, Believe or Accept As True, Welcome

Israel had been given the Promised Land. Yet they still had to be strong & courageous and walk in faith to receive their inheritance. Followers of Jesus have been given a New Identity. Yet we still have to be strong & courageous and walk in faith to receive our inheritance (our True Identity in Jesus). Just like the Israelite's were to remember & receive everything God had already given them through Abraham, we must remember & receive everything God has already given us through Jesus. We all have battles (strongholds) that need to be confronted/dealt with. God will Provide the Victory... Fight the Good Fight of Faith and Receive Your Inheritance!
The principles given in this Book of Joshua are the same for the Follower of Jesus today.
Father Jesus Holy Spirit, Help us to walk in faith to receive all that You have Promised us!
