Lord willing, this will be updated/changed as led. One last thing to remember... God has everything under control (Psalm 139:1-18).

Throughout Scripture, Jesus focuses on preparing us. His consistent message to us was not to worry, fear, or prepare to carnally "fight" what God has allowed or prophesied (His Perfect Will). The things He "tells us in advance" are meant to produce the proper response in us, the purpose for which the Word was Spoken/Written. Things like repentance, obedience, holiness, faithfulness, hope, peace, joy, and love - NOT over-speculation, obsession, division concerning specific details of prophecy or current events. In the same Spirit... Joel, Paul, John, James and Peter encourage us to spiritually prepare ourselves for the end of the age/coming days of deception (Galatians 5:22-23, Romans 14:17, Matthew 6:25-34, John 18:36, Luke 12:16-31, Luke 9:24). As the gap between "being in Christ" and "being of the world" continues to grow, be encouraged... when the darkness gets darker, the Lord's Light within us (as we follow Him) gets brighter & brighter (Proverbs 4:18).
End-Times (apocalyptic) teachings, groups and perspectives can be roughly categorized in three ways:
1) Physical/Carnal in emphasis, preparation, approach
2) A blend or balance of physical/carnal and spiritual considerations
3) Spiritual preparation, focus, emphasis
The spiritual preparation/focus/emphasis of group 3, should be our primary perspective/goal as Jesus suggested and is taught in the New Testament. Any physical/carnal preparation is ok, but it should be of secondary importance. There should be a forceful repudiation of fear & worry, avoiding necessary suffering & death, overzealous endeavor's based on food, shelter, money/gold, guns/weapons or any other human effort to save ourselves (and others) in this carnal world. Do not put your trust in anything/anyone other than God Himself. Keep in mind, physical/carnal preparations such as food, shelter, money/gold, guns/weapons, etc are just mere tools that are useful, but they cannot guarantee anything - they are only tools at the end of the day. First and foremost, put your trust in God; a deliberate and open embracing of eternal spiritual life - regardless of sufferings and/or death we (and our loved ones) may experience, and regardless if we are near the end or not.
Followers of Jesus should not fear death, but embrace death (looking forward to finally going Home to be with God). If we truly desire to do God's Will now and at the End of the Age, then our primary importance should be to focus on spiritual preparation, then (and only then) may we consider physical/carnal preparations. Please take a moment to think/pray about what was mentioned, as well as: A Biblical View of Self-Defense & Murder and Gun Control - Good or Evil?
If we seek to accurately follow an apocalyptic ministry/perspective, like the writers of Scripture (even though the last days did not occur in their lifetimes), we must consistently ask the question: "Is this what Jesus taught, admonished people to focus on, and emphasized?"
...Your Heavenly Father knows that you need all these things (food, drink, clothing, etc). But seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these things (food, drink, clothing, etc) shall be added to you.

Whether or not we are near the end, the wisdom of being in Group 3 should not be missed. If we prepare ourselves spiritually, it does not matter if our (and others) heartfelt guesses about the last days are right or wrong. If we live and teach as Jesus, John, Peter, James and Paul did, we win either way; since we have invested in eternal life, and have been specifically obedient to the commands of Jesus as to what He said we should be doing (faith, love, obedience to God).
What is needed is oil of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 25:1-13) burning in our lives, not physical/carnal oil. Besides "Christ forming in us" (Galatians 4:19), all other preparations are false hopes. God alone is more than sufficient for the coming day.
"Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit," says the LORD Almighty.

An Important Reminder
Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to follow Me [as Jesus disciple], he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests], and take up his cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Jesus, conforming to Jesus example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Jesus]. For whoever wishes to save his life [in this world] will [eventually] lose it [through death], but whoever loses his life [in this world] for My sake will find it [that is, life with Jesus for all eternity]."
As previously noted, the consistent message of Jesus recorded in Scripture was not to worry or fear what God has prophesied (Galatians 5:22-23, Romans 14:17, Matthew 6:25-34, John 18:36, Luke 12:16-31, Luke 9:24). What really matters most is faithfully following Jesus. Are you willing to suffer and die (be a martyr) for Jesus, just as He did for you? Are you willing to embrace your loved ones to suffer and die (be a martyr) for Jesus? Jesus laid down His life for His friends - those who do what He commands (John 15:12-14). If the Lord is truly your friend, lay down your life for Him - let your words, life, persecution, and martyrdom be a great witness of faithfulness to both Him & others. This is love that is real-genuine-sincere, and there is no greater (1 John 4:19).
Also, anyone who worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on their forehead or on their hand, will FOREVER forfeit their right (there is NO turning back) to everlasting life/peace with God - they will be tormented day & night forever (Revelation 13:16-17, 14:9-13, 15:2, 16:2, 19:20, 20:4).
Please take this warning seriously! Resist the temptation to refuse persecution/martyrdom in the Name of Jesus, thereby denying the Lord Jesus, when the hour of testing is upon you (Matthew 10:32-33, Acts 5:29, Psalm 40:8). We are commanded by Jesus to endure in trust/loyalty/obedience/love onto God to the end (Matthew 24:13, Mark 13:13, 1 Timothy 6:12, Revelation 14:12). Just like He did :-)

Interesting note that on May 14, 1948 the re-establishment of the State of Israel was officially proclaimed (if you add 70 years to 1948, you get the year 2018). In June 1967, which was a Jubilee Year as well as the end of the 6 Day War, the Jewish re-occupation of the City of Jerusalem happened (if you add 70 years to 1967, you get the year 2037).
