Pure Love - Eternal Love

We love, because He first loved us.

1 John 4:19

 

 

You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and mind, and with all your soul and with all your strength.

Deuteronomy 6:5 & Mark 12:30

Love includes Trust, Obedience, Correction, Discipline.

What is the difference between Sin, Transgression, and Iniquity?

 

 

Therefore, loving God (imperfectly of course - but doing our best, striving for excellence) means...

 

Knowing Him

He is love, He is good - full of mercy/grace/compassion, He is Holy, He is just.

 

Believing/Trusting Him

He Is Who He says He Is, He is faithful, He has everything under control - don't doubt/worry/fear.

 

Obeying Him

Which includes receiving His correction/discipline - leading to humility, repentance & change for the better.

 

 

God deeply desires love, kindness & truth to prevail. Everything He wants and/or asks of us is good (there's nothing bad - He only wants the best for us). Yet, it's amazing how we make things so difficult for us/others. It's crazy how much we struggle, fight, and reject His desires for love, kindness & truth - complete insanity (it's evil). This just goes to show how deeply unloving, ungrateful and rebellious we really are towards God and His Good/Perfect Will (it's diabolic). We claim to want love, peace, goodness and truth in our lives, but our thoughts, beliefs, words & actions prove otherwise (total hypocrisy).

 

Again... all God is asking from us is to manifest love, goodness and truth. Is there anything wrong or bad about that?

 

O My people, what have I done to you?

And how have I wearied you?

Answer Me.

He has told you, O man, what is good;

And what does the LORD require of you

Except to be just, and to love kindness,

And to walk humbly with your God?

Micah 6:3-8

 

O taste and see that the LORD is good;

How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him.

Turn away from evil, and do good;

Seek peace and pursue it.

Psalm 34:8, 14

 

 

 What does it mean to taste and see that the LORD Is Good?

 

 

To refuse God's desires of love, goodness and truth is what sin is (to reject God's love, goodness and truth). The fight/war between good vs evil is something we all face (it's a battle). Without God's help through Jesus, we are hopeless (destined to fail).

 

Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

John 14:6

 

 

 True Love, Pure Love, Eternal Love Is God (can only come from Him - no one or nothing else). May we know the Truth about God, and His Desires of Love, Goodness and Truth for us (He only wants what is best for us, nothing hurtful/bad).

 

 

Do you want to know God, be victorious over sin, and manifest His love?

Thank You Father for Who You Are - Love, Truth, Goodness, Holiness. Thank You Father for sending Jesus - to rescue us, to restore us. Thank You Jesus for what You did and continue to do for us - make us son's/daughter's of God. Thank You Holy Spirit for Your work in us - to change us into Christ-like beings. Thank You God for Your Love, for victory over sin & death, and all the blessings we experience both now and throughout eternity with You. Draw many souls to Jesus.
