SOVEREIGNTY OF JESUS AND HIS UNSTOPPABLE MISSION
ALL AUTHORITY IN HEAVEN & ON EARTH IS HIS
Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
The Father loves the Son and has given and entrusted all things into His [Jesus'] hand.
All things have been handed over to Me [Jesus the Son] by My Father; and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Son except the Father; and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son [deliberately] wills to reveal Him.
Just as You [God the Father] have given Him [God the Son - Jesus] power and authority over all mankind, [now glorify Him] so that He may give eternal life to all whom You have given Him [to be His—permanently and forever].
which He [God the Father] produced in Christ when He raised Him [Jesus Christ] from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion [whether angelic or human], and [far above] every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and world but also in the one to come.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me-Jesus, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.
And when He [the Lamb - Jesus Christ] had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb (Christ), each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of fragrant incense, which are the prayers of the saints (God’s people). And they sang a new song [of glorious redemption], saying,
“Worthy and deserving are You [Jesus Christ] to take the scroll and to break its seals; for You were slain (sacrificed), and with Your blood You purchased people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them [born-again Holy Spirit filled people in Jesus] to be a kingdom [of royal subjects] and priests to our God; and they will reign on the earth.”
Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and [the voice] of the living creatures and the elders; and they numbered myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands (innumerable), saying in a loud voice,
“Worthy and deserving is the Lamb [Jesus Christ] that was sacrificed to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.”
And I heard every created thing that is in heaven or on earth or under the earth [in Hades, the realm of the dead] or on the sea, and everything that is in them, saying [together],
“To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb (Christ), be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.”
And the four living creatures said, “Amen!” and the elders fell down and worshiped.
