Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who by faith have testified to the truth of God's absolute faithfulness], stripping off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us, [looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith...
Let
the [spoken] word of Christ have its home within you [dwelling in your heart and mind - permeating every aspect of your being] as you teach [spiritual things] and admonish and train one another with all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
Praise the Lord!
Sing to the Lord a new song,
And praise Him in the congregation of His godly ones (believers).
Let Israel rejoice in their Maker;
Let Zion's children rejoice in their King.
Let them praise His name with dancing;
Let them sing praises to Him with the tambourine and lyre.
For the Lord takes pleasure in His people;
He will beautify the humble with salvation.
Let the godly ones exult in glory;
Let them sing for joy on their beds.
Dear Father, Thank You So Much (So So Much). You Are Worth Our Everything, Our All In All, Our Entire Being.
