Spiritual Grief, Curses, Healings

SPIRITUAL GRIEF - CURSES - HEALINGS
Fight the Good Fight

 But as for you, o man of God, flee from these things; aim at and pursue righteousness [true goodness, moral conformity to the character of God], Godliness [the fear of God], faith, love, steadfastness, and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith [in the conflict with evil]; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and [for which] you made the good confession [of faith] in the presence of many witnesses.
~1 Timothy 6:11-12

The Spirit of Grief
The enemy attacks with a spirit of grief in order to take the fight out of us. If the enemy can steal our joy, he can steal our strength/fight (Nehemiah 8:10). If this is you:
  • Bind the spirit of grief in Jesus' Name, commanding it to loose its hold from you
  • Ask the Lord Jesus to reach His Healing Hand into your spiritual heart and perform spiritual heart surgery - healing open wounds, smoothing over scar tissue, softening the hardened places of your heart, tearing down walls that you have built to protect yourself from future hurts, extracting any bitterness that is in your heart
  • Ask God to restore the joy of your Salvation and give you unspeakable joy
  • Praise God and Thank Him

Word Curses and Thought Curses
If word and/or thought curses are coming against you:
  • Move in the Luke 6:28 principle - bless those who curse you even if you don't know who they are
  • Bind both word and thought curses in the Name of Jesus with the Matthew 16:19 key - whatever you bind on earth will be/is already bound in Heaven
  • Take authority over every demonic word and/or thought that has been formed against your life and gird up the loins of your mind; renewing your mind through God's Word/Promises/Ways/Truths/Life
  • Praise God and Thank Him

Healings
For spiritual/mental/emotional/physical healing:
  • Ask the Lord Jesus to heal _______. By the Power of God, be healed
  • God is healing _______, believe and receive it from Him now. Mention the _______ God is healing
  • Praise God and Thank Him

Who/What is First & Foremost in Your Life?

The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem.
"Vanity of vanities," says the Preacher.
"Vanity of vanities! All [that is done without God's guidance] is vanity [futile, meaningless - a wisp of smoke, a vapor that vanishes, merely chasing the wind]."
What advantage does man have from all his work
Which he does under the sun (while earthbound)?
When all has been heard, the end of the matter is: fear God [worship Him with awe-filled reverence, knowing that He is almighty God] and keep His commandments, for this applies to every person. For God will bring every act to judgment, every hidden and secret thing, whether it is good or evil.
Ecclesiastes 1:1-3, 12:13-14

Settling unhappily into his Super Bowl seat, high behind the end zone, Joe spots an empty seat low and on the 50-yard line. He descends to it and asks the man seated next to him why the coveted seat is unoccupied. The man says, "It's mine. I was supposed to come with my wife, but she died. This is the first Super Bowl since 1967 we have not attended together." Joe says: "But couldn't you find a friend or relative to come with you today?" Paul's letter to the Corinthian church emphasizes the distinction between wisdom and folly and how in Christ God accomplishes His redemptive plan in unexpected ways (see 1 Corinthians 1:18 - 3:23). This letter also contains practical advice and everyday wisdom. Through two different metaphors (a runner and a boxer), Paul reminds the Corinthians that doing anything - especially following Christ - without a goal in mind is the height of foolishness. A runner with no destination will simply tire and quit, and a boxer beating the air never puts his training to practical use. We follow Christ to become like Jesus and receive the prize - this should be our number one commitment & goal. (more here)
